Custom Letterforms & App Design

Typography challenges typically showcase individual letters in isolation, losing how letterforms work as a system. For this crowdsourced challenge, I designed a custom letter per day while building a wireframe app to navigate the entire collection. Each letterform explored different approaches—geometric, organic, experimental—pushing beyond traditional boundaries. The custom app became as important as the letters, creating intuitive navigation through the alphabet.

The result: 36 unique letterforms functioning independently while contributing to a larger typographic narrative through engaging digital experience.
